Common classification of epoxy resins
At present, there are many kinds of epoxy resins, and various classification methods, mainly according to the chemical molecular structure, there are the following:

1. Glycidyl ether resins;

2. Glycidyl ester resins;

3. Glycidyl amine resins;

4. Linear fatty epoxides (Aliphatic epoxides);

5. Alieyelic epoxides.
There are other ways to classify it. Pure epoxy resins and modified epoxy resins are classified according to their main components. According to its curing conditions, it is divided into normal temperature curing type epoxy resin, low temperature curing type epoxy resin and other curing type epoxy resin. Single-component epoxies, two-component epoxies and multi-component epoxies are classified according to their packaging form.

Epoxy resin has good physical and chemical properties, such as good corrosion resistance, good dimensional stability, strong bonding ability, high hardness, so it is widely used as a coating, pouring, packaging, adhesive, etc. Examples include pipe and metal plate coating, printed circuit board, packaged electronic components and dental applications coating and so on. With the development of science and technology, electronic products are becoming smaller and lighter, making epoxy resin potting material become an important application field of epoxy resin. At present, epoxy resin potting materials are not only widely used in the electronic device manufacturing industry, but also an indispensable and important insulating packaging material in the potting of components such as aerospace, automotive, military, and electrical appliances.
